How smart are you?
Just all had a go at this in our office

Top result in the office so I feel quite happy with it but I bet you pedants can come up with some errors in the test.

I didn't spot any errors, but I did manage 20/20. Some of those spellings were hard! (No, I did not Google, nor look them up in any other way).

....and after trying in vain to find the link on their site to display the results in a blog, I did a view-source to see how you'd done it. Right. OK. I could do something similar, but as a note to readers who aren't web coders and don't have their own hosting facilities: stop wasting your time looking.

18/20 - Beat you by one, darling. I'm really no good at the "how many double letters are there in this word" bit.

Cheers,
Graham

That was the bit I really struggled with, too.

18/20 - if I'd gone with what I thought instead of what looked right I'd have 19. The apostrophe placing got the other one.

19/20. Caught out by one of the spelling ones. The whole double-letters thing is one of English's worst "no logic whatsoever" aspects, I have to say. Another contender would be the number of different ways of spelling what's phonetically a schwa, though I tend to file that under "bizarre features of English pronunciation", rather than spelling as such.
